Two worlds so different. I hardly know…
what was to come. A changing shift
to life of purpose. Amazing gift.
My “then” was spent with people who
believed my interests never grew.
“A child inside this man” they thought.
Nothing given. Nothing taught.
A life of gray. A future bleak.
I was a person not unique.
But change did come, and thankful so.
My life has blossomed and continues to grow.
My “now” is filled with loving things.
Friends and family. Joy that brings
a smile to my apraxic face.
A life of purpose, and of grace.
